Privacy policy

The short version. Your answers and scores stay in your browser and are never sent to us. There are no accounts and no sign-up. The site keeps a short list of the questions you missed, and the Pass Pack’s unlock if you buy it, in your own browser. Ads on this site come from Google, which may use cookies; you can control that. One labelled box promotes StudyLah, a tuition service.
Who we are
This policy covers the website Driving Test Practice at drivingtestpractice.app (“we”, “us”, “the site”). You can reach us at hello@drivingtestpractice.app.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, receive or store your answers, your scores, your name, email address or any account details. Every practice test is marked inside your browser.
What is kept on your device
The site keeps a few things in your browser’s storage (localStorage), never on our servers: the questions you answered wrongly, so they can come back for practice; and, if you buy the Pass Pack, its unlock, a copy of the paid questions so they open without asking again, and which test page you bought from. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes all of it, and your Pass Pack link (from the thank-you page) brings the Pass Pack back.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies of our own. What we keep in your browser’s storage is listed above. Our advertising partner, Google, may set cookies or use similar technologies (such as device identifiers or local storage) when ads are shown, as described below.
Advertising: Google AdSense
The site is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. This is how that works:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s ad settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at youronlinechoices.eu or aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google consent message before personalised ads are shown, and can change their choice later.
- Where your local law gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted ads, you can use the choices above, and your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal where it is supported.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com. Ads are never placed inside a practice test or its questions, and none are shown in print. Apart from Google’s ads, the StudyLah box below and Stripe for payments, there are no other partners; if we add one, we will name it here first.
The StudyLah promotion
Test and guide pages carry one labelled box for StudyLah, a tuition service for students in Singapore, placed after the test and the guide. It loads no tracking code. Its link adds a short tag to the address (utm_source=drivingtestpractice, and which page you came from) so StudyLah can count how many visitors came from here. The tag holds no personal data. Once you are on StudyLah’s site, its own privacy policy applies.
Buying the Pass Pack (Stripe)
If you buy the Pass Pack, the payment happens on Stripe’s own page. Stripe collects your email address and card details there under Stripe’s privacy policy; we never see your card. The only thing our site sends to Stripe is the product. Your receipt comes from Stripe, and we keep no customer list. To open the paid questions, your browser sends our server the payment’s reference from your Pass Pack link, which our server checks with Stripe; we do not store it or anything else about you.
Analytics
We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives us totals such as page views, popular pages, the kind of device and browser, the referring site and the country. Cloudflare states that this tool does not use cookies or local storage and does not track individuals across sites.
We also count which of our main buttons and which links to other websites are clicked, without cookies. Each count records only the page, what was clicked and when, never who you are, your IP address or your device.
Hosting and security
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Children
The site is meant for learner drivers, their parents and driving teachers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws give you rights to access, correct or delete personal information, and to object to some uses of it. Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is normally nothing for us to hand over or delete. For advertising data, use Google’s controls above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
